Lu started tattooing in Montreal, Quebec in 2006. Since then he has been incredibly fortunate to travel and work in various countries such as Norway, Iceland, Australia, France, and Germany, to name a few. Although Canada will be first in his heart, he always dreamed about working in California and is incredibly lucky to call San Diego home now. Working at Guru Tattoo has been a dream come true- "Not only is it a highly professional and reputable studio, but there is also an energy that fuels me to push all of my creative boundaries and create amazing tattoos"

Classic American Traditional imagery is definitely a favorite of Lu's. Think iconic designs with tall ships, eagles, wolves, daggers and roses.However, he is also inspired by the mysterious and unknown, you can often find elements of the afterlife and outer space incorporated into his unique designs.

You can catch Lu Thursday-Monday and when he is not tattooing you can catch him riding his motorcycle or surfing!
